Add structured data to your site in two days, no rebuild

Schema.org, FAQPage, and MedicalClinic in JSON-LD are eighty percent of the lift. Here is how to add them in two days.

TL;DR. Schema.org in JSON-LD is how Google and AI engines confirm what your site is. Without it, they guess, and they usually do not bother. Two days of dev work fixes this.

Where to start

Open your homepage in the Rich Results Test. If nothing shows up, the problem is confirmed. Add MedicalClinic on the homepage, FAQPage on service pages with a FAQ block, and BreadcrumbList everywhere. Re-test.

What you gain

  • Show up in Rich Results within two to four weeks
  • Become eligible for AI Overviews citation (does not guarantee, but is a prerequisite)
  • Move from "site that looks like 2018" to "site search engines understand"

What not to do

Do not add FAQPage to a page that is not Q&A. Google reduced rich-result eligibility for misuse post-March 2026, and misuse turns into a penalty.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I add schema myself, no dev?

For simple FAQ schema, yes, with plugins. For MedicalClinic and LocalBusiness, get a dev to write JSON-LD by hand to avoid silent errors.

  • How many schema types do I need?

Two are enough to start, MedicalClinic (or LegalService for law firms) and FAQPage. BreadcrumbList is the third easy win.
